In Moustache, trick-taking takes an unexpected turn as loyalties change throughout the game. Rather than keeping the same partner from start to finish, players continually swap teams, creating shifting alliances where today's teammate may become tomorrow's rival.

Each round begins with players partnering up before competing in a fast-paced trick-taking contest. Winning tricks earns points for your current team, but after every round the partnerships change, forcing you to rethink your strategy and adapt to new teammates. Success depends not only on playing your cards well, but also on reading the table and making the most of constantly changing relationships.

Special cards and evolving partnerships ensure that every round feels different, encouraging clever timing and tactical play instead of relying on a fixed long-term alliance. The frequent team changes also keep every player engaged, as fortunes can quickly shift over the course of a game.

Designed by Alexandre Aguilar and Jules Messaud, Moustache combines accessible trick-taking with a playful social twist that rewards adaptability and table awareness. Its quick play time, simple rules and constantly changing partnerships make it an excellent choice for families, mixed gaming groups and experienced trick-taking fans looking for something fresh and unpredictable.
