Tea has become the world's most valuable treasure, and rival pirate captains are racing to brew the finest blends on the high seas. In Pirates of the High Teas, you'll recruit a colourful crew, gather prized tea leaves and complete lucrative contracts as you compete to become the most celebrated tea pirate.

Each round begins with players drafting cards to build their crew and improve their abilities. Crew members provide unique powers that can strengthen future turns, while carefully managing your resources helps you fulfil increasingly valuable tea contracts. Deciding when to claim new cards, complete objectives or invest in long-term combinations creates meaningful choices throughout the game.

As your pirate crew grows, powerful synergies emerge between characters and contracts, rewarding careful planning and efficient engine building. The game ends after the final round of drafting and contract fulfilment, with victory awarded to the captain who has earned the most prestige from completed contracts and other scoring opportunities.

Combining approachable card drafting with satisfying engine building, Pirates of the High Teas offers strategic decisions in a compact playtime. Its whimsical artwork, unusual tea trading theme and solo mode make it an excellent choice for players looking for a fresh twist on modern tableau-building games without overwhelming complexity.
