The balance of global power is shifting. In World Order, you take control of one of four major powers and compete to shape international politics through economic influence, diplomacy and military strength.

Set against a modern geopolitical landscape beginning in 2010, each power has its own strengths and weaknesses. Your challenge is to expand your influence around the world while responding to the competing ambitions of the other players. Form alliances, invest and trade in foreign countries, establish military bases and use diplomatic, economic and military strategies to pursue global hegemony.

Area control combines with deck building through each power's unique Dominance Deck. This allows your capabilities and strategic options to develop throughout the game while maintaining the asymmetry between the competing powers. Decisions in one part of the world can affect relationships and opportunities elsewhere, creating a highly interactive strategic contest rather than an isolated engine-building puzzle.

World Order is designed for players looking for substantial strategic depth and direct interaction. Its grounding in international relations gives familiar board game mechanisms a distinctive political context, creating a two to three hour contest of influence, competing interests and shifting relationships where understanding your opponents can be as important as developing your own position
