Recall
Recall is a deep strategy board game of exploration, development and civilisation building from the team behind Revive. In each session players lead one of fourteen unique tribes across shifting lands, balancing growth, exploration and tactical decisions as they unlock ancient wisdom and build enduring legacies. From the moment play begins you are drawn into strategic choices that shape your tribe’s fortunes and your path to victory.
On a typical turn you must decide how to best use your resources and actions. You may play a keycard to activate an action space, unlocking its effect and the abilities on the card, or you may choose to recall your cards to generate resources and ready them for future moves. The combination of keycards and action boxes defines every turn’s options, creating a rich tactical landscape where exploration, movement and construction all flow from your strategy. Score comes from growing your population, building workshops, vaults and monuments, and uncovering relics that link your tribe to traces of ancient civilisations discovered at dig sites.
Throughout the game players improve their tribes by acquiring better cards, upgrading action spaces and collecting stones and relics that add power and flexibility to their play. Recall presents moments of narrative tension as three times during a game all players must choose between two paths, each providing immediate bonuses and affecting how final scoring plays out. Optionally you can use a digital companion website to archive your tribe for future games, letting new players encounter your past achievements as legendary civilisations. With support for one to four players aged fourteen and up and sessions of around ninety minutes, Recall delivers a satisfying blend of engine building, exploration and long-term strategic planning
