In Cooper Island players aim to make their fortunes in a new land.
The islands peninsulas stretch out and the Atlantic ocean surrounds you. Each player has landed on a separate peninsula. With only two ships and a few workers you must explore, cultivate and settle on Cooper Island.
Players must use tile and worker placement to decide how best to score victory points. Will you expand your land quickly or spend your efforts cultivating it to make it more productive and therefore more valuable? Barriers must be removed in order to explore the island. Statues can be built, supplies can be shipped in from the old world.
Cooper Island is not just any island. It’s strategic demands, clever use of landscape stacking and subtle mechanisms provide the quintessence of an expert game.
