You may purchase influence cards, place clan seals in gardens or training grounds, shift your courtier across influence circles, or trade with Portuguese merchants. Every choice matters because each resource can be exchanged for points.
The game runs through two rounds, each with six turns per player. On your turn you decide where to deploy a lamp token and which action to take. The clever use of lamps and timing shapes your engine. You may upgrade cards, secure strategic positions, or build up resources to outscore your rival.
