In this strategic euro style game you and your fellow master builders take on the challenge of completing the Orloj calendar, an ornate mechanism of gears, zodiac signs and celestial spheres that will endure for generations. From the first turn you will balance resource collection, timing and planning as every action you take influences your path toward harmony points and ultimate victory.
Gameplay revolves around worker placement, rondel movement and action retrieval. On your turn you place workers on the clock’s dial, positioning them to collect resources, activate special actions or further advance your influence on the construction. Each choice is shaped by the ever-turning nature of the mechanisms around you so timing becomes as important as strategy. Alongside regular actions you may hire assistants or work on building the apostles’ carillon, adding depth to your decisions and opening new strategic avenues.
The game also features three tracks of knowledge that reflect your character’s growing expertise. Advancing on these tracks enhances your abilities, offering bonuses that can shift the momentum of play. As the calendar nears completion tension rises because opponents will be vying for similar actions and space on the dial.
