Kingdom Crossing
Step into the forest-kingdom of Brightspring where the wise Queen Beavery seeks a builder for the realm’s long-needed eighth bridge. In this world you gather resources, recruit guild artisans, and move your beaver-worker through the four regions connected by seven bridges. On each turn you pick action tiles that let you travel, recruit characters, meet the Queen, or build structures. Movement matters because you cannot reuse the same bridge in a single day, forcing you to plan your route carefully through the wooded lands and bridges of Brightspring.
Over four rounds you manage income, gather resources like lumber, stone, sap or food, and leverage guild bonuses offered by forest dwellers, each providing different advantages such as extra prestige, money, or improved mobility. As you and your opponents build structures, recruit helpers, and complete bridge-goals and personal favors from the Queen, you build an engine that churns out Prestige points in multiple ways. The game unfolds with a blend of engine-building, programming your moves, and strategic resource management. There is even a solo mode with an automa and multiple difficulty levels. For final scoring, you measure your success in Prestige earned from your buildings, guild investments, completed goals, and strategic choices.
