Andromeda's Edge
Andromeda's Edge
Humanity's reach has extended to the edge of the Andromeda galaxy, where rival factions compete to establish the most successful civilisation among mysterious precursor technology, dangerous raiders and unexplored worlds.
Each turn, players launch ships from their space station to planets, asteroid fields and nebulae to gather resources, claim rewards and expand their influence. Occupied regions can lead to dramatic battles using dice and tactical cards, where careful planning can turn defeat into an opportunity. Returning ships to your station activates the engine you have built throughout the game, allowing new modules to generate resources, unlock abilities and prepare for future turns.
As the game progresses, players construct developments on planets, improve technology tracks, recruit new capabilities and adapt their strategy to changing events. Mid-game objectives and end-game scoring reward long-term planning as well as tactical decisions, creating multiple paths towards victory.
Designed by Luke Laurie and Maximus Laurie, Andromeda's Edge combines engine building, worker placement, area control and interactive combat into a highly strategic science fiction experience. It offers meaningful decisions throughout the game while giving every faction unique strengths that encourage repeated play and different strategic approaches
