In Pacts, two players take command of one of these courts, recruiting legendary creatures including dragons, banshees and selkies as they compete for control of six sacred regions across the island.
Pacts is a tactical two-player strategy game where every round revolves around clever decision making. Cards are dealt before one player divides the available actions into two separate piles. Their opponent then decides who receives each set, creating meaningful choices before a single action has been taken. Throughout the game, players place, move and remove influence as they compete for majority control across the map, constantly weighing immediate gains against longer-term opportunities.
The battle unfolds over six rounds with scoring taking place after the third and final rounds. Every action contributes towards securing key territories while adapting to the changing balance of power between the two courts.
