Looot
Looot places you at the head of a fearless Viking clan eager to claim riches and glory across new lands. Each round you will send your warriors to gather resources, construct buildings and secure strategic advantages, all while competing to build the most prosperous settlement.
The game unfolds through a simple but engaging action selection system. On your turn you place one of your Vikings onto the shared board to collect resources such as wood, sheep or stone, or to claim valuable building opportunities. The placement of each Viking influences what remains available for opponents, creating meaningful interaction and tension throughout the game. Timing matters because certain resources become scarce quickly, and planning ahead can secure critical advantages.
Buildings are central to scoring. By spending collected resources you construct structures that generate points and sometimes ongoing benefits. Different buildings reward different strategies, encouraging players to specialise or adapt depending on the evolving board state. In addition, bonus objectives offer alternative paths to victory for players who manage to meet specific conditions during play.
Looot supports two to four players and typically lasts around thirty to forty-five minutes. The rules are straightforward and accessible, yet the tactical depth emerges through player interaction and resource management. It is well suited to families and casual strategy players looking for a fast paced experience with meaningful decisions.
When the final Viking has been placed and the last building constructed, points are tallied. The clan that best balanced expansion, resource gathering and timely construction emerges victorious, having secured the greatest wealth and renown.
