Bella Vista
Please note that orders containing Pre-order items will be shipped together. To receive in-stock items sooner, please place a separate order.
In Bella Vista you step into the role of aspiring architects competing to shape the skyline of a growing city while maximising views, contracts and profit. From the moment play begins you are faced with the satisfying tension of placement and order selection, choosing where to build eight distinct buildings that vary in height, cost and scoring potential. Each decision feels meaningful because every building alters the cityscape and influences how well you can fulfil contracts from City Hall that grant lucrative rewards.
Gameplay revolves around careful planning and dynamic interaction with fellow players. On your turn you will bid for turn order, compete for prime locations and place 3D building components onto neighbourhood tiles. Constructing buildings gains you income and points, but the value of each building depends on its relation to parks, rivers and the surrounding skyline. Higher structures can yield more points but require more resources and careful timing, so balancing risk and reward is key. Contracts impose additional goals that drive players to prioritise certain placements and strategies.
Mechanically Bella Vista blends auction and area control with spatial reasoning. Turn order bidding keeps every round engaging because being first can unlock premium spots at a cost, while waiting might save resources but concede advantage. The modular park and river layout means each session feels fresh and strategic considerations shift as the city evolves over the course of play.
Bella Vista supports two to four players and plays in roughly thirty to forty-five minutes, making it a great choice for both casual game nights and deeper strategic sessions. Recommended for ages eight and up, the game offers an accessible yet rewarding experience where players learn through competition and city growth. When the last building is placed and final scores are tallied you will feel a real sense of having shaped a vibrant skyline and out-maneuvered your opponents through clever placement and timely bids.
