In Unmatched Adventures Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, players work together against dangerous villains while still enjoying the sharp tactical combat and card driven duels that define the Unmatched system.
Players can choose from Leonardo, Raphael, Donatello, Michelangelo, Splinter and Casey Jones, each represented through their own deck of cards and unique abilities. Every character feels distinct on the battlefield and encourages different tactical decisions as players work together to survive enemy attacks and complete scenario objectives.
Unlike traditional competitive Unmatched sets, this Adventures edition focuses on cooperative play against scenario driven enemies controlled by the game itself. Players face iconic villains from the TMNT universe including Shredder, Krang and Bebop and Rocksteady, each with their own objectives, attack patterns and escalating threats. Enemy behaviour is streamlined through dedicated villain decks, creating constant pressure while keeping turns quick and engaging.
Combat remains tense and cinematic throughout. Players move around the modular map, manage their hand of cards and carefully decide when to strike, defend or support teammates. Positioning matters enormously, and timing a powerful combo or perfectly coordinated defence often creates huge swings in momentum. Every hero feels dramatically different to pilot, encouraging experimentation across multiple sessions.
The game also captures the fast moving comic book energy of the Turtles exceptionally well. Banter, teamwork and chaotic action emerge naturally through play as players scramble to survive overwhelming odds and complete scenario objectives before everything spirals out of control.
Despite the cooperative focus, the elegant Unmatched system remains easy to learn while offering deep tactical decision making for experienced players. Every battle feels dynamic, dramatic and full of memorable reversals.
