THE BOARDGAMIST LAUNCH EVENT GIVEAWAY | BUILT BY THE COMMUNITY
- by Dan
Our launch event giveaway is now complete. Voting and giveaway entries are closed. Thanks for playing and helping build the bundle!
Boardgamist’s new site is here, and I want to celebrate with the people who make this little shop possible.
Together, we’re building an incredible five-game giveaway bundle. You can vote as to which game joins the stack each day. Then one lucky entrant wins the whole lot.
A small shop. A big ambition.
I started Boardgamist because I wanted more time spent playing, discovering things and bringing people together around a table.
It’s still just me behind the shop: choosing the games, answering your questions, making recommendations and packing your orders. I’m finding my feet as a business owner, and every order, kind message and recommendation to a friend helps me keep going.
Whether you’ve been here from the early days or have only just found us, thank you. You’re helping me work towards a rather ambitious goal: making Boardgamist the best place to buy board games on the planet.
A new site built to help you find your next favourite
We all want different things from game night. The right choice depends on who’s coming round, how much time you have and what you enjoy playing together.
The new site makes that search easier. Explore games by player count, complexity or vibe, try the game-finder quiz, or browse Dan’s Favourites for a little inspiration.
And if you’d rather ask a person, I’m still here to help.
Let’s build something brilliant together
To celebrate the launch, I’m handing the giveaway choices over to you.
Each day brings two games and one decision. Pick your favourite, tell us why in the comments, and help build the ultimate giveaway bundle.
Enter the giveaway once using the entry form, then come back to vote each day. Voting alone doesn’t enter you into the prize draw, and you don’t need to vote to enter.
Already entered? Go straight to the day’s vote below.
Each vote closes at 11:59pm on its listed date. Giveaway entries and the final day’s vote both close at 11:59pm on Monday 5 October, UK time.
Entry is free and open to UK residents. Full giveaway terms are on the entry page.
Thanks for being part of this. Let’s find your next favourite board game and perhaps send you home with five new ones!
Dan
