On each turn, players place camels belonging to one of their caravan leaders, extending routes across the map and searching for scoring opportunities. Connecting to oases, collecting water holes, and enclosing areas of the desert all provide points, but every placement also affects the options available to your opponents. Space on the board quickly becomes contested, and a single well-timed move can dramatically alter the balance of power.
